Friends of MEEC supports the Mamakating Environmental Education Center in creating immersive educational experiences and promoting adventure, which fosters a lifelong love for the great outdoors.
Friends of MEEC recognizes the ecological significance of the Bashakill Wildlife Management Area, including the surrounding forests.
Our mission is to support enviornmental education and stewardship and an appreciation of local history.
