Vernal Pools

As we enter into spring, learn why vernal pools are a vital part of the Bashakill ecosystem. Vernal pools that dry up later in the summer are teaming with life in the spring! Learn how to identify these pools and the organisms that rely on them. We will be using magnifiers and microscopes inside. Dress for the weather.
