Nature-Themed Birthday Parties in the Heart of the Community

Meet our Resident Animals

Children are invited to meet our amazing resident animals. Children will have the opportunity to explore where these animals live and enjoy a special presentation from a dedicated member of our staff with a show and tell of our resident animals (the animals shown are at the discretion of our staff) . Following our resident animal show and tell, a member of our staff will lead a nature themed craft in our event space. Guest will then gather for food and family/friend time!

Located at the Mamakating Environmental Education Center: 762 South Rd, Wurtsboro NY 12790

The party is 2.5 hrs total and includes time in our event space, our information center and our nature trails.

Registration is $200 for a max of 12 children, each additional is $10/child.

Payment due at registration booking.

A MEEC staff member will be in attendance during the first hour of your event to help with any center-related questions.

Party goers are responsible for making sure the event space is clean at the end of your event.

If you need to cancel your event a 70% refund will be given. We reserve the right to cancel any program for any reason, in which case a full refund of the prepaid program will be issued.

A Nature Center T-shirt for the birthday child (we will confirm their size upon registration)

As a party favor, all children in attendance will receive a MEEC pencil and one free pass to return and enjoy any of our weekend programs

Food and any drinks

Tablecloths if desired, napkins, cups, utensils

Decorations - the renting party family may arrive 30 minutes early to set up

Cake/cupcakes, candles, matches, knife for cutting cake
